Zebra mill, our last development

Zebra Mills ready to go

Zebra Mills ready to go

The Zebra mill is already in the market. Despite all constraints faced (and still on) by the COVID outbreak, we have finally succeed to finish, test, manufacture and promote this machine into the International markets.

The Zebra mill came from an idea to make a unique machine, with no other references, but with a solid objective: Efficient, sturdy, light enough, easy, minimum maintenance and affordable.

It tooks hundreds of working hours and own funds to finally achieve the results. Comprehensive machine test and material fatigue test gave positive results after some prototypes.

Today, many Zebra mills are installed in rural areas, to ease the cereal processing in an affordable and ecological way.

Patents under process.

Solar Milling in Burkina Faso for shea processing

Integral solar system for processing karite/shea nuts

A group of three machines from Solar Milling are running now in a village for the benefit of a women cooperative.

The installation, sponsored by the Canadian NGO www.thestrongestoak.org consist in a 6.5kWp solar power to drive one stone mill for edible flour, one crusher to break Shea / Karité nuts and one Shea butter maker.

The system works directly from Sun radiation, achieving a great performance on terms of power, reliability and productive use.

A solar system aside, provides 230 V energy 24/7 from a battery bank, for phone charging, photocopier, fridge, computer and Wi-Fi facility covering the neighborhood.

This is the very first installation in the World, where solar energy makes Shea butter processing much easier in an ecological way.

Sunny regards!
